SCLC Patient Nina
Nina is a former art therapist who has been living with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) for nearly a decade. Since receiving her initial diagnosis, her goal has always been to live the best quality of life. Despite all that has changed as a result of SCLC, she has used the experience to continue to grow and even push her art into new directions she was hesitant to explore before cancer came into her life.
“When I was told I might die, let me tell you, that lit a fire under me and I started doing a lot of the things that I always wanted to do. I was able to suddenly stop putting myself down as an artist and just really enjoy what I did and put it out there.”
