SCLC Caregiver Kristen
Despite working in patient advocacy herself, Kristen still experienced similar challenges as a caregiver when her mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC). She knows first-hand that navigating the health system is not always easy, but has discovered several resources that can be helpful for people living with SCLC and those who support them. “What gives me hope is the fact that my mom is still alive. Had she been diagnosed five or six years ago, I don't think that would be the case. So I'm incredibly thankful that she is alive and hopeful for the future.”
